Default File Type Associations

Sebelumnya saya pernah posting bagaimana cara mengacaukan assosiasi suatu tipe file. Dan bagaimana cara mengembalikannya. Namun bagaimana bila tiba-tiba tipe file yang ada di windows rusak. Sehingga tidak dapat dibuka oleh Windows sendiri. Nah disini saya akan memberikan beberapa  Default Type File Association .

Dengan Default Type File Association ini kalian dapat dengan mudah mendefault type file yang rusak atau sengaja dikacaukan oleh orang jail. NamunDefault Type File Association  ini hanya berlaku di Windows Vista saja.

Daftar Default Type File Association

1. AudioCD – Audio CD protocol associations.
2. avi – Audio Video Interleave files. The default program is Windows Media Player.
3. bat – Batch files.
4. bmp – Bitmap image files. The default program is Windows Photo Gallery.
5. cab – Cabinet files.
6. chm – Microsoft compiled HTML help files.
7. cmd – Windows command script files.
8. com – MS-DOS application files.
9. contact – Contact file used in Windows Mail. The default program is Windows Contacts.
10. cur – Windows File Cursor animation files used for the Microsoft Windows mouse pointer image.
11. Directory – Directory protocol associations
12. dll - A Dynamic Link Library (dll) file is a support file used by one or more programs.
13. drive – Drive protocol associations.
14. exe – Executable application files.
15. folder – Folder protocol associations.
16. gif – GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) image files. The default program is Internet Explorer.
17. htm – HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language) document files. The default program is Internet Explorer.
18. html – HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language) document files. The default program is Internet Explorer.
19. ico – Icon files. The default program is Windows Photo Gallery.
20. inf – Setup information files. The default program is Notepad.
21. jpe – JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) image files. The default program is Windows Photo Gallery.
22. jpeg – JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) image files. The default program is Windows Photo Gallery.
23. jpg – JPG (Joint Photographic Group) image files. The default program is Windows Photo Gallery.
24. js – Java Script files. The default program is Microsoft Windows Based Script Host (C:\Windows\System32\wscript.exe).
25. lnk – Shortcut link (LNK) files.
26. mp3 – MP3 sound format file. The default program is Windows Media Player.
27. mpa – MPEG audio file. The default program is Windows Media Player.
28. mpe – MPEG movie file. The default program is Windows Media Player.
29. mpeg – MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) video file. The default program is Windows Media Player.
30. mpg – MPEG video file. The default program is Windows Media Player.
31. msc – Mirosoft Common Console document files.
32. msi - Microsoft Windows Installer installation package file.
33. png – Portable Network Graphics (PNG) is a bitmap compression method for image files.
34. reg – Registry files. NOTE: You may need to the default program as Registry Editor (C:\Windows\regedit.exe), orenable regedit before you will be able to use this REG file.
35. rtf – Rich Text document files. The default program is WordPad.
36. scr – Screen Saver files.
37. tif – Tagged Image files Format. The default program is Windows Photo Gallery.
38. tiff – Tagged Image files Format. The default program is Windows Photo Gallery. txt – Text document files. The default program is Notepad.
39. vbs – Visual Basic Script files. The default program is Microsoft Windows Based Script Host (C:\Windows\System32\wscript.exe).
40. wav – Wave audio file.
41. wma – Windows Media Audio files. The default program is Windows Media Player.
42. wmv – Windows Media Audio/Video file. The default program is Windows Media Player.
43. wsf – Windows Script Files. The default program is Microsoft Windows Based Script Host (C:\Windows\System32\wscript.exe).
44. xml – Excel Macro files. The default program is Internet Explorer.
45. xps – XML Paper Specification document files. The default program is XPS Viewer (C:\Windows\System32\XPSViewer\XPSViewer.exe).
46. zip – ZIP file extensions is a archival and data compression format used to compress one or more files to reduce the size of the file. The default program is Compressed Folders.

NOTE: This is a .reg file for the ZIP download only, so go to step 4 after downloading it.

Cara Menggunakannya

1. Klik aja salah satu file exetension diatas, maka akan mendownload secara otomatis
2. Simpan di desktop kalian
3. Extract file  .REG yang ada didalam .ZIP
4. Klik kanan pada file .REG, kemudian pilih Merge
5. Klik RUN pada SECURITY WARNING POP-UP
6. Klik Continue (UAC), Yes, and OK ketika prompted.
7. Jika sudah selesai, silahkan DELETE file .REG tersebut. Atau kalian Simpan
